FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A new public art display hopes to spread love and pride throughout the summit city.

That's the idea behind "Love, Fort Wayne" and Artlink's wall chalk exhibit outside the Wunderkammer studio on Fairfield Avenue. It asks the public to complete the simple message "I love the '07 because..." and messages of pride and community spirit have filled the chalk board display. However, organizers say that's just the beginning.

"We hope to have the one up at the Firefly in the next month or so, the two on the Arts campus will go up in late August to coincide with Taste of the Art,", says Amber Recker the project chair of Love, Fort Wayne. "I'm currently working with the TinCaps, and it is probably going to be some of their postseason events where it first kicks off, then hopefully carries through next season."

The project's goal is to have similar chalkboards throughout the community and in every zip code in Fort Wayne.
