WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- A car hit a utility pole at US 33 and 300 North around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning leaving many without power.

Initial reports indicate that REMC customers have had power restored but that about 900 customers with AEP are still without power.

We are told the car hit the pole and the guide wire snapped and hit the power line causing the outage.

Estimated restored time is not yet known as crews have not yet arrived on the scene.
