Car Wedged Under Semi Along West Jefferson Boulevard (with video & photos)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- A very close call for a driver headed west on Jefferson Blvd. this afternoon.

A maroon Mercury Sable was driving westbound on Jefferson when a semi-tractor trailer that was facing eastbound turned north onto West Main Street in front of the oncoming Mercury.

The car couldn't stop and collided with the semi-trailer, becoming wedged underneath.

The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital and is said to be in fair condition. According to reports, the semi-driver was not injured.
