Cap n' Cork On Lima Robbed By Three Armed Men

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Cap n' Cork on Lima Rd. was robbed Tuesday night at around 9:30 p.m. by three armed men.

According to police, three men, possibly black, took money from the cash drawer and safe, Newport cigarette cartons, liquor, the store phone and an employees Samsung Galaxy cell phone before fleeing.

When officers arrived they found two employees, one male and the other female, inside the store. The female employee was visibly upset but neither employee requested medical assistance.

Surveillance video showed the three men. The suspects have been described as follows:

1) wearing black jacket/coat and gray pants, armed with a black semiautomatic handgun

2) black hoodie, dark pants, white/black shoes, black baseball hat and a backpack

3) green hoodie, black jacket, baseball hat with white brim and white shoes.

Police are investigating and gathering surveillance video from surrounding businesses.
