Bonds To Be Issued For I-69 Project

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- I-69 is set to be expanded and a large amount of money will be spent on the expanding the interstate.

A state agency will be selling $250,000,000 worth of bonds to help expand the interstate from Bloomington to Martinsville. The project is part of the greater effort to connect Indianapolis and Evansville.

The bonds are expected to start being issued this month.
