NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- It happened twice this week. Police were called to 2 separate residences for complaints of unwelcome visitors.

Paul Pemberton, 57, was arrested on Sunday after police responded to a call from a homeowner who says he was found with a small dog in his bathroom. The homeowner awoke to the sound of a small dog barking that didn't belong to him. He discovered Pemberton in his bathroom with the small dog.

According to reports, the homeowner then told his wife to call 911 and grabbed his shot gun and a loaded pistol. He contained Pemberton in the bathroom until police arrived and they arrested him without incident.

Then on Wednesday, Julie Higginbotham, 36, was arrested for residential entry after a resident of the home awoke and saw her pass by the bedroom door exiting the bathroom. The homeowner called police and she was arrested without incident.

It is not known if these incidents are related and there are no reports of anything being stolen.
