Bank Robbery In Wabash (PHOTOS)

WABASH, Ind (21Alive) -- At 10:19 a.m. yesterday morning a man in a red sweatshirt entered The First Merchants Bank in Wabash demanding money.

The suspect entered the bank with his hand in his sweatshirt pocket suggesting he had a weapon but he never actually displayed one. Along with the red sweatshirt the suspect was also wearing grey Ivy Tech sweatpants, sunglasses, and black gloves.

The suspect left the bank around 10:21 a.m. heading east from the bank and ditched his sweatshirt. Police believe he had a vehicle parked in the area.

Wabash Police are asking anyone with information to please contact the Wabash City Police Department.
