MUNCIE, Ind. (21Alive) – Ball State University is strengthening its stand against sexual assault.

The university released a new 32 page code approved by the Trustees Friday.

In the code, it includes the creation of the Sexual Misconduct Board that will hear student complaints about dating violence, cyber stalking and posting of photos on social networks, among other offenses.

The code also includes penalties for sexually abusing victims that are drunk or intoxicated.

Campus officials say that employees on the university will be trained on preventing, reporting and responding to sexual misconduct.
