INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- The badly burned body of a 15-year-old female has been identified as Dominique Allen, a student at Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center.

The body was discovered by a man who was walking his dog in the 1100 block of Elder Avenue. Investigators say they believe the female was killed in another location and placed in the location where she was found.

An autopsy done on Tuesday revealed the girl died of homicidal asphyxiation.
