Auburn Man Killed in Crash

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) - An Auburn man is dead after the car he was driving veered off the road.

Dekalb County Police say Joseph Raymond was driving southbound on County Road 29 nearing County Road 72 Friday afternoon.

Officers say, for no apparent reason, the vehicle veered off the roadway into a ditch and hit a tree.

Raymond was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the car, David Morgan of Corbin, Kentucky, was taken to a local hospital.

The cause of the crash is still unknown and it remains under investigation.
