FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Heavy rain over the last day will send rivers up over their banks the next few days. More than two inches of rain fell on the area. The good news is the rain is ending, but too much came down to soon, and now some flooding looks likely. FLOOD WARNINGS are in place for these rivers this weekend.
The Maumee river in Fort Wayne has a flood stage of 17 feet, and will rise to 18.4" Saturday afternoon and may flood a few city streets and may cause a few problems with flooding in River Haven.
The Little River above Huntington may flood and affect Allen, Huntington and Wabash counties. Early today the river was at 18.1" and rising. Moderate flooding occurs at 15 feet and land along the river and secondary roads become flooded. The river should crest around 18.5 late today then begin falling.
St. Joe River in Ft. Wayne was at 9 feet and rising. The river will rise to 13.8" by Saturday afternoon, then fall below flood stage Sunday. Lowland and agricultural flooding can be expected.
Many other rivers, creeks and streams may be affected, so keep a close watch if you live or drive near one of these.

Catalpa Street between Jefferson Boulevard & Taylor Street
North River Road between Landin Road and Maysville Road
Thieme Drive Between Washington Boulevard and Main Street
Intersection- Filmore Street @ Geneva Avenue
Sherman Boulevard between Superior and Fourth
Taylor between Brooklyn Ave. and Portage Blvd.
Filmore Street south of Taylor
