Ambulance Crashes In Snow-Covered Ditch

INDIANAPOLIS (RTV6) -- An ambulance overturned in a snow-covered ditch early Wednesday on the city's west side, dispatchers said.

The crash was reported just before 4:30 a.m. in the 8500 block of West 10th Street, Wayne Township Fire Department crews said.

At least one person was trapped in the crash, but there were few details on the extent of injuries.

Dispatchers did not immediately say what caused the crash or how many people were inside the ambulance.
