FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – The War Memorial Coliseum parking lot was host to the annual GM Truck Homecoming.
General Motors of Fort Wayne hosted the GM Truck Homecoming Saturday morning, which included a police escorted truck parade of nearly 300 vehicles, live music, and a truck show.
Truck owners from around Northeast Indiana were encouraged to bring their pride and joy on wheels to the Coliseum—and organizers say people didn't disappoint.
"We are really excited because we have everything from a 1942 truck that was made right before the war to brand new 2014 trucks made right here out at the plant and just about everything in between so whether you liked old trucks or new trucks we had them out there, it was a lot of fun,” said Stephanie Jentgen, GM Fort Wayne Communications Manager.
Jentgen says GM is proud to host the truck homecoming due to the passion of the area truck owners.
