Alford Plea: Sets Ohio Apart From Indiana In High Profile Criminal Cases

CELINA, Ohio (21ALIVE) --- A defendant agrees to a sentence of life without parole, when he insists he didn't even do the crime.

It happened during a special plea bargain Tuesday in a Northwest Ohio double murder case.

The outcome for Bryant Rhoades, as it turns out, is not even possible here in the Hoosier state.
