ATV Accident Under Investigation

HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - An ATV accident that occurred Saturday evening is under investigation.

According to officials, police were called to the accident scene on a private property located off of Old East Road near Palmyra.

The victim, Robert Hudson, 61, was thrown from his ATV as he flipped it while operating in a field behind his residence. Officials say Hudson suffered injuries, including broken ribs, and was later transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to reports, Hudson was not wearing a helmet or any safety equipment. Indiana Conservation Officers strongly encourage riders to always wear a helmet and necessary safety equipment when operating an ATV.
