WASHINGTON (Indiana's NewsCenter) - President Obama has signed the Health Care Bill into law.
While there was a joyous ceremony at the White House, but not everyone is celebrating.
Attorney Generals in a dozen states, all Republicans, have filed suit to block the bill.
INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels believes the Health Care Reform Plan will be an economic disaster for the Hoosier state.
Daniels says, “It will lead certainly to higher taxes, higher health care costs and a much weaker economy going forward. Congress was determined and now we have to live with the consequences."
Daniels is moving to suspend enrollment in the state's "Healthy Indiana Plan," a medical savings account he created to help low-income Hoosiers afford insurance.
He says the federal law will destroy the state plan.
