FWCS Board Approves Teacher Contract

FORT WAYNE, Ind (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees passed a new one year teacher contract.


It includes 2% Step increases, or seniority pay, for teachers, but leaves their healthcare plan unchanged.


The teachers union has been criticized for approving Step increases, because it will cost the district $1.9 million.
