FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - In a time when a lot of companies are scaling back, a Fort Wayne company is growing.

Edy's Ice Cream is currently looking to hire 120 positions.

These jobs are available because of a new product expansion at the plant.

Rick Benson with Edy's Human Resources in Fort Wayne says, “Our parent company, Nestle, had a lot of confidence in the Fort Wayne facility and the work force available in the Fort Wayne community. So they've made a pretty substantial investment in us to bring some new products here. That's created a lot of opportunity for us. We are the supplier for the entire Midwest of Nestle drumsticks, and the other line makes a l'il Drum, which is a new product. It's a healthy, smaller version of an ice cream cone. We are the sole supplier of those for the entire country.”
