INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Indiana's NewsCenter)--Governor Mitch Daniels says he hopes action recently taken will end the need for further state cutbacks in the new year.
Daniels says he can not guarantee there won't be a need for further reductions but if the revenue forecast holds, the state can reach the end of the two-year budget by spending its reserves.
You may recall the Governor recently ordered budget cuts of $300 million dollars for public school corporations as a way to make up for the budget shortfall.
