Indiana State Fair To Be Longer This Year

INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Indiana State Fair is less then a month away.

And you can experience the sights and sounds over a 17-day period.

Indiana's State Fair had been a 12-day affair since 1982.

But fair officials say expanding it to 17 days will bring all of the popular 4-H events into the fold of the fair's official schedule.

The event is schedule that runs from Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 23rd and covers three full weekends.
