FORT WYANE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Many students, faculty, and staff are saying goodbye forever to the Taylor University, Fort Wayne campus as finals wrap up.
The dorms close Friday for those not participating in graduation.
Commencement is set for Saturday.
University officials announced last October they would cease undergraduate operations in Fort Wayne effective this month.
Students say knowing they won't be returning next fall has been bittersweet.
Natalie Myers who will attend Taylor-Upland next year says, “It's a weird combination of knowing this place is closing and that we won't have this community anymore, but also knowing that God is working through it and just to be able to see his faithfulness throughout this school year I think I've seen it in ways I wouldn't have seen it if the school had stayed open.”
Some of the programs will be moved to the school's main campus in Upland.
