FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Drivers on I-69 hit a big traffic snag on Fort Wayne's north side this morning.
Indiana highway department officials stopped traffic on north and southbound I-69 just south of the Goshen Road and U.S. 30-33 interchange.
The stoppage last about a half-hour so crews could string four high-tension power lines across the highway.
But the crews got all the work done in one fell swoop, so the lanes did not have to be closed a second time.
Police detoured traffic around the project, and all lanes on i-69 are now open.
