4 Arrests In Hotel Drug Busts

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A drug bust at a Fort Wayne hotel led to the arrest of four men on Friday.

The Fort Wayne Police Department's Vice Narcotics and Gang & Violent Crimes units performed a buy bust at the Motel 6, 3003 W. Coliseum Blvd.

The investigation then led to Knights Inn, 2901 Goshen Rd. During a search of two rooms rented by Kijuan Adams 36, of Battle Creek, Mich..

Three men were found inside one room, which police say smelled of marijuana.

Police say they found marijuana, heroine and synthetic drugs and a loaded handgun in one room.

Adams is preliminarily charged him with four counts of dealing heroine and one count of dealing cocaine. Bond is set at $250,000.

The other men were also arrested.

Mario Burton, 33, of Battle Creek, Mich., was arrested on probation and child support violations.

Two other men were arrested on visiting a common nuisance charges.
