Man Arrested In Meth Lab Investigation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Fort Wayne man was arrested on multiple meth related charges Tuesday evening, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

The FWPD Meth Supression Unit and Emergency Services Team served a search warrant on a residence in the 10200 block of W. Palo Verde Drive Tuesday evening. Upon entering the residence, officers found an active meth lab and meth making materials.

William L. Biggins was arrested on and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursors, and other related charges. The St. Joe Fire Department was called to the scene due to the unstable nature of chemicals found in the home.

A 13 year-old child had to be removed from the scene.

This was the 25th meth lab seizure in Fort Wayne this year.
