2 Pets Perish In House Fire (with Photos & Video)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- At 9:15 a.m. Tuesday the Fort Wayne Fire Department were called to a house fire on Felician Street.

When crews arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the first floor. Crews had the fire under control in eight minutes.

There is heavy fire damage to the first floor of the home and moderate water and smoke damage throughout the rest of the structure. No civilians or fire fighters sustained injuries but two cats perished in the fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
