INDIANA (www.incnow.tv) -- A three year national initiative by the US Marshals service targeting the country's most dangerous non-compliant sex offenders lands two Northeast Indiana men behind bars.

In March of 2011, Dewayne Stewart was picked up in Huntsville, Alabama. He was wanted in Whitley County for failure to register as a sex offender. Stewart was convicted in 2004 of sexual misconduct with a 15-year-old minor and child seduction.

Mark Lautzenheiser was arrested in November of 2010 in DeKalb County for failure to register as a sex offender and parole violation. He had a previous conviction of rape.

In all, the three year effort by the Marshals Service nabbed 427 of 444 offenders wanted across the nation.
