Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Huntington Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at U.S. 24 and Jefferson Street, killing an Andrews man.

Police say just before 5:30 p.m. a mini van, driven by 34 year old William Hall of Andrews, was traveling east on U.S. 24 along side a semi. When the light at Jefferson Street turned green, police say Hall veered to the left slamming into the side of the big rig at full speed.

Hall was killed on impact. His son, a passenger in the van, was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

The semi driver was not injured.

The traffic accident remains under investigation.
