17 Indiana Schools Make Forbes Top College List

Forbes released their annual list of top colleges in the United States and 17 Indiana schools made the cut.

The list was composed by Forbes and the Center for College Affordability and Productivity. Factors such as student satisfaction, graduation rate and post-graduate success are considered. The 17 schools are as follows.

17. University of Notre Dame

91. DePauw University

92. Earlham College

107. Indiana University

119. Purdue University

179. Wabash College

239. Butler University

243. Saint Mary's College

257. Taylor University

258. Hanover College

270. Valparaiso University

307. University of Evansville

313. Goshen College

406. Huntington University

561. Ball State University

607. IUPUI

647. Indiana State University

The top 5 in the nation were:

1. Williams College

2. Stanford University

3. Swarthmore College

4. Princeton University

5. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
