Firefighter & Resident Burned In Marion House Fire

MARION, Ind. (21Alive) - A firefighter and resident were burned Monday afternoon in a Marion house fire.

The fire started around 5 p.m. at 604 N. Lancelot Dr.

A man inside the home escaped the fire, but re-entered the home. Rescue crews pulled him out of the back window, and he was taken to a Marion hospital with second-degree burns to his back and legs.

A Marion firefighter was also treated for burns.

The home is considered a total loss.
