14 Firearms Stolen From LaGrange County Home

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information in a daytime burglary that occurred in northeast LaGrange County on Monday.

On May 13th, 2013 between the hours of 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. unknown persons forced entry with a crowbar into a home in the 10000 east block of CR 375 N. While inside the home suspects removed a total of 14 firearms. The firearms taken were a combination of handguns and long guns.

Police believe that there are currently two groups of individuals performing daytime burglaries in LaGrange County and urge home owners to be observant of their surroundings and to call in any suspicious vehicles, persons, or activity that they observe.
