FAIRMOUNT, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A section of the roof of the old Fairmount High School collapsed Wednesday.

Built in the late 1800s, the school closed 30 years ago.

Several organizations have attempted to save the dilapilated building through the years by trying to sell the school. Others have sought to tear down the building.

Actor James Dean is a famous alumnus of the school.
