FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A benefit for former Northrop football player Noah Barbknecht will be held Saturday to provide meaningful financial support to his family.
On Christmas Eve, Barbknecht, 15, was involved in a tragic skiing accident. He sustained multiple facial fractures, a broken neck, broken ribs, double pneumothorax, and a spinal fracture that left him paralyzed from the chest down. He is currently being cared for at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA.
The Northrop football team, coaching staff, parents, school and community are holding the charity benefit at Ceruti's Summit Park at 7 p.m. Heavy hors d'oeuvres, non-alcoholic drinks, live entertainment and a silent online auction will take place at the event.
Tickets do need to be purchased to attend.
The tickets cost $30 each and can be purchased at http://www.charityauctionorganizer.com/auction/BruinBenefitForNoah.
