FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Fort Wayne food truck business is up for a national award for its items on the menu.

JumBy JoiNt is one of 17 businesses up for the Food Truck Rookie of the Year. The award is based on online voting, and handed out by Mobile Cuisine Magazine.

Owner Jim Garigen started JumBy JoiNt in March. He's not sure who nominated his business, but is honored by the award.

JumBy JoiNt offers a variety of gourmet sandwiches, many of which Garigen says he discovered traveling the country.

"We're doing our signature Ugly Granny," Garigen said at lunchtime on 21Alive News at Noon. "It's a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with Gouda (cheese) and Granny Smith apples."
