NEW YORK (www.incnow.tv) - A Columbia City High School senior took the big stage Thursday morning, performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Foster Eber, 18, played trombone as part of the 245-member Macy's Great American Marching Band.

Foster's mother, Krista Eber, says Foster was watching the parade last year, saw the Great American Marching Band and wanted to try out. Foster submitted an application and audition tape, and was accepted in June.

Foster flew to New York on Monday, and rehearsing throughout the week.

Foster served as the drum major of the Columbia City Marching Eagles this past season. He plans to study graphic design or a similar field at Ball State University; and hopes to march in the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band.

Applications and more information about the Macy's Great American Marching Band can be found here.
