A new prayer chapel is under way on the campus of Taylor University and to symbolically kick off construction students held a come and go prayer service from 9:30 until 11 Sunday night.

The chapel is a way of memorializing those four students and one faculty member killed back in April of 2006 after their van was hit broadside by a semi.
The new chapel will feature multiple rooms including space for 75 in the main chapel area. There will be a memorial to those lost in the accident as well as a prayer garden outside.
