Smoke Damages Remodeled House (With Video)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A house fire broke out Sunday morning at 7008 Old Trail Road, one week before a family was set to move in.

According to the Fort Wayne Fire Department, the flames were contained in the kitchen and extinguished within 15 minutes. The rest of the house had heavy smoke damage.

The house is right across the street from one of Fort Wayne's fire stations. Crews were on the scene within minutes.

Nobody was in the house at the time.
