Our Chow Chow is here at the shelter. He seems to be good during the day, but will need to be penned up at night. He likes to be loved on and has a love/hate relationship with his tail

They are open:

The photos posted with this story are from the Wabash County Animal Shelter Facebook page. Dogs may not still be available. Check with the shelter for the dogs available for adoption.

Here is the full post:

Dear public: PLEASE READ

We are severely over capacity. We have 15 dog kennels and 21 dogs. We have had to put up outside kennels, but that is not ideal at all. Please help us find owners and homes for our dogs.
ALSO, PLEASE do not be so quick to pick up dogs. Take the time to ask around at houses near by to see if it is their dog or a neighbors. You never know, they could be right outside their own house or on their way home!

Thank you!
