Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Just after 2 p.m. the Fort Wayne Police Department began receiving reports that individuals in two vehicles were shooting at each other.

A witness who was waling out of the front door says that four or five bullets rang out from the vehicles. The bullets that missed their intended target began striking the homes in the background of the shooting along South Lafayette.

The witness says that one of the bullets flew past him and hit the house.

Investigators have extracted the bullets from the homes hit during the shootout.

Thankfully the individuals inside the homes were not injured.

Police have not made any arrests, but the witness says one of the cars was a late 2000 model maroon Chevy Impala with gold trim around the trunk.

Police say the Monday's morning shooting at Foster’s Sports Pub and this shooting could be related, but they are unable to confirm that at this time.

Anyone with information is urged to call police at 436-STOP.
