WARSAW, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - What first was reported as a shooting investigation, turns into a stabbing with the victims taken to the hospital one of which is in critical condition.

Kosciusko County Police were called to the Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park Wednesday evening just after 9:00. Officials received a call of a potential shooting. Once they arrived they located the first victim, 39-year- old Ruben Enciso, who had been stabbed approximately 14 times.

The second victim, 33 year old Hugo Alvarado, was found lying in a ditch near the stabbing scene suffering from a leg fracture and a wound to his head.

Both of the victims were flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.

The victims identified their attacker as 25- year-old Juan Carlos Alvarado of Milford. Kosciusko officials located Alvarado, three blocks from the Kosciusko Sheriff's Department. Alvarado was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail, where he is being held on a preliminary charge of felony attempted murder with a knife.

After taking Alvarado into custody, officers searched the house where he was located, and found the knife used in the stabbing.
