FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - SCAN held its fourth annual Greater Fort Wayne Putting Championship at River City Links, as a fundraiser Friday.

Nearly 130-golfers are participating in the fundraiser.

Organizers are hoping to raise $15,000 from the event.

It's just one of many to help raise money to stop child abuse and neglect.

SCAN Board of Directors Scott Bunnell says, “One of the things we do is sponsor various fundraisers throughout the year. This is one of them along with our duck race, which will be next month. It goes all in a pot to help a good cause.”

Indiana NewsCenter’s own Dean Pantazi and Kent Horman participated in this great cause.
