FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A fire broke out at a local business Saturday night.

Around 9:45 Saturday night, FWFD responded to All Star Construction Ardmore Avenue near Elmhurst Drive on report of smoke and flames coming from a building on the business property.

Firefighters say the building was vacant at the time and no one was hurt, and it took them roughly 40 minutes to put out the blaze.

Although a portion of the building collapsed, firefighters were able to save two thirds of the building.

Fire officials told 21Alive the fire may have started from construction material catching fire, but they're still investigating what caused it.
