Happy the Hobo Dies (Video)

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (www.incnow.tv) - A man who brought smiles to the faces of tens of thousands and is best known for his role as a homeless clown has passed away.

Mike Fry, Happy the Hobo, died early Monday morning in Indianapolis. He was best known for hosting the all kids live audience show, Happy's Place, on WFFT from 1982 to 1990.

Not only was Fry an entertainer, he was an inventor and entrepreneur. He founded "Fancy Fortune Cookies" in Bloomington, Indiana in 1988. The company is now it its 24th year and delivers custom made cookies nationwide.

Fry died of complications from an auto immune disorder. He was 51.
