Fort Wayne VA Hospital To See More Patients

FORT WAYNE, In. (www.incnow.tv) --- VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS) Fort Wayne will begin Phase Two of the re--start process for in-patient care on Wednesday, February 27th at 09:00 A.M..

A press release friom the VA issued this morning says that as part of Phase Two, VANIHCS will open six in-patient beds and will begin integrating patients with more complex conditions

VANIHCS will continue to open in-patient beds incrementally until all twenty-four beds are open, which is expected to be by the end of March. Community hospital partners will continue to be used to treat more complex patient needs, according to the VA statement.

VANIHCS opened the in-patient Acute Medical unit in early December as Phase One of the re-start process.
