FORT WAYNE, In. (www.incnow.tv) --- Some 200 civilian workers at Fort Wayne's 122nd Fighter Wing are having to take time off without pay.

The furlough of civilian technicians who work at the National Guard Base adjacent to Fort Wayne International Airport is required as part of the so-called sequestration, a process of mandatory budget cuts ordered by congress.

The civilian workers at the guard base are losing 20-percent of hours and pay during the sequestration to make up for budget cuts.
