FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - A national roller hockey tournament will spend the next 12 days in Fort Wayne.

The 2014 United States Roller Hockey Championships started Wednesday, and will run through Aug. 10 at SportONE/Parkview Icehouse.

Nearly 270 teams will compete, bringing more than 10,000 visitors to the Summit City.

Visit Fort Wayne officials expect a $1.6 to $2 million economic impact to the community.

Admission to the U.S. Roller Hockey Championships is free. A list of games can be found at StateWarsHockey.com.
