FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.nbc33.com) -- Here at NBC33 we have been working to spread the "Eyes Forward" message to help fight distracted driving.
Drive Alive is now helping us bring you that message and Tuesday, members of the group are sharing some good news.
Two High Schoolers, Edgar Alarcon from Bishop Luers and Christina Martinez from Wayne, are being awarded with the Ralph Taylor Award for Driver Education.
The two students will get free driving lessons after they submitted essays focused on the safe driving message. It's an opportunity to remember those teens that are staying safe on the roads.
Drive Alive was founded back in 2005 by Allen County Deputy Coroner Ralph Taylor.
