WREN, Ohi (NBC33) -- They don't call it the "Wiffleball" capital of Ohio for nothing...
This weekend, the city of Wren, Ohio will play host their 23rd annual Wiffleball tournament. But this is no pickup game. This is intense.
It's a 16 team tournament in what organizers call a "professional atmosphere."
An estimated 1200 spectators and players will converge on a town of only about 200 people for the biggest festival the town sees all year.
"I think I can speak for most in the community in that there's a great deal of pride, there is no question about it," says Commissioner Jack Davis. " As its grown, and gotten bigger the surrounding communities know about it now and it pulls them into the village. And it's something that the village can be proud of."
