UNITED STATES (www.nbc33.com) – Etiquette is really about considering the comfort of those you’re interacting with in any given situation.

Randi Zuckerberg, CEO of Zuckerberg Media and Editor-in-Chief of Dot Complicated says social media has created new rules for relationships.

“The definition of friendship has changed because you know everything that's going on in people's lives,” Zuckerberg says. “You have to walk a very fine line between, ‘I stalk your Facebook profile every day’ and ‘oh, I just happened across those adorable baby photos and they stuck in my memory’.”

The sister of Mark Zuckerberg, found of Facebook, suggests creating private groups for personal posts.

“I have a two-year-old son, I would probably upload a hundred photos a day of him if I could but I know that I will get unfriended by everyone on my Facebook list,” she said.

Unfriending can be a hot topic and while we all unfriend for many reasons, spring cleaning seems to be a common occurance. People just unfriend people they may not really be that close with or that they met at some circumstance and clean up their friends list.

Social Media can also be used to party plan but there are a couple things to keep in mind, like utilizing the BCC line when emailing invites.

There are a ton of services that allow you to send what looks like a paper invitation but is digital but when responding to the E-vite, a personal message should be included for the host.
