James Sentenced To 56-Years For Murder (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.nbc33.com) -- A Fort Wayne man who was convicted of murder for the February 2012 shooting death of another man has received a 56-year prison sentence.

A.C. James, 56, was convicted of murder, aggravated battery and criminal recklessness. He was arrested for the shooting death of Kyree Ellis in March of 2012.

Police say James shot Ellis at the intersection of East Paulding and Lafayette Street.

Surveillance camera's of a nearby gas station caught the image of a truck that James was allegedly in that night.
