Indiana Youth Institute Encourages Dialogue Between Students And Parents

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) -- With back to school looming for students and parents across the viewing area, it is time to get your children's mind ready.

The Indiana Youth Institute says having discussions with your student about the upcoming school year is crucial. You should discuss grade level expectations as well as any anxieties they may have.

However, one of the most difficult parts of getting kids ready for the first day of school is adjusting back to a daily schedule after an otherwise unstructured summer.
